Meet the ElvisCaster

One of my most prized possessions: the Elvis-caster. 1988 American Standard tattooed and customized by Mike Koontz. Parson's White B and G Bender made by Gene Parsons and placed on the guitar by Gene and Mike Koontz. Gattonized by Larry Militech. Pickguard, Mike Koontz. Signed by Albert Lee on the back. Initially it had 3 pickups EMG. Now Joe Bardens. Ebony Neck. Work to be done, inlays, traditional Tele bridge if I can find one to fit a 1988 tele.

WHY I LOVE TELECASTERS:

(a) You can hit someone over the head with a Tele it still could be in tune
(b) A Tele has a certain twang perfect for Rockabilly, Country, Jazz, and everything you name it!
(c) The guitar body is light
Most importantly, I meet more women with a Tele.
